"THERE'S AN ANTELOPE ON OUR BEACH."

"Ain't no hill for a climber," as the saying goes.
Great story, Roger. Thanks.

Great story Roger,
Thanks!!

Great photoessay, Roger. One correction, however...the antelope was listing to port not starboard:lol:

Great story, Roger. We've grown to expect that by now.

And you learned some Czech. I'll bet Joe knows all about good Pilsner (Is that their word for beer?).

It's amazing how many interesting people seem to live in your area. Is it baja that makes them so. Or is it that only the inventive, hardy types found a way to make a go of it in baja.

Have to admit you surprised me with this one: I thought we would be seeing pictures of deer on the beach somehow.

Good one !!

Maybe it was Roger who was listing to starboard.

Anyway, To je velmy dobre, pan Pompano. Jedna dobrá pohadka. Dekuji vam.

Excellent good-story telling, Roger.
After blowing my morning cuppa tea all over my keyboard, I laughed 'til my tummi hurts.

That was amazing....I wondered if that boat was going to become "beach art" or not.....good job..

bigjohn - 12-5-2009 at 11:33 AM

Best lines in the whole story.............. Roger, put down the beer, please!

I love it when a plan comes together...Great story and very entertaining!!

Vince - 12-5-2009 at 04:30 PM

That was a damn entertaining story, Roger. Especially since I know all the actors, or characters! Joe is an engineer and it shows. I was wondering how he was going to do it. All very low tech and simple use of gravity and levers. Nice going!

Thanx Roger for a great story and even better pictures. Is Springbrook doing ok now? Is Joe's last name Sedovich? I have not seen him for 30 years or heard much about him. Looks you old guys are still able to have some fun!....Thanx again. ++C++:yes:

Reminds of this poor guy. I was told the keel is likely to be 6 feet deep and this is a heavy sailboat.

Way to use what resources you have at hand. It seems people of Baja, Mexicans and transplants, can get anything done, with only what is available. Great story, thanks!
