Lot in "El Carrizal"

BabyZarathustra - 12-9-2009 at 09:56 PM

Text Land in Southern Baja California for sale. Located in "El Carrizal", 30 minutes from Los Cabos. The lot is 89,340 square feet (2.05 acres). It's completely rustic (without services), it has road access, allowing access to vehicles. It is advantageous for the buyer that the lot doesn't have services because the prices are much lower. 1.00 per square foot. I can sell parts or the full lot offering a better deal.

fishbuck - 12-10-2009 at 12:25 AM

Is it waterfront?

BabyZarathustra - 12-10-2009 at 10:02 AM

Nop, wish it was.

capt. mike - 12-10-2009 at 10:34 AM

1. plat?
2. subdivision map?
3. general locator site plan? which side of Cabo?
4. closest tie to utility services if any?
5. structure of existing title?

enquiring minds want to know.
what is "text" land?

That's what I was thinking too. If that's the one he's talking about it would take a very fast heliocopter to get there in 30min from Los Cabos.

Let me be the first to say: Welcome to Nomads Baby, good luck on the sale of your property.

If anyone on the Nomad boards are impolite or rude try not to take it personally. Some around here are just naturally cranky and you'll find some very helpful....dt

You can get one for less here in Buena Vista....with utilities and we probably have the most expensive property in Baja....dt

First of all, ·Text" shouldn't be there, MY MISTAKE (forgot to take my meds). I wanted to change the color of the text, didn't think it would end up that way. MIL DISCULPAS SEÑORES DEL FORO. Be sure I will cut my wrists with animal cookies later on.

El Carrizal is between La Paz and Todos Santos. For all of you who aren't lucky enough to live in BCS - and think everything here is in the middle of nowhere - I have news for you. A 4 lane highway is being made that will run from Todos Santos to La Paz. Yes, we have highways here, too. The lot is about 500 mts - approximately, not exactly - from the highway. The EXACT measurements of the lot are 205 x 200 x 72 x 11 square meters which makes a total off 8,300 meters.

I will gladly send a map with the exact location of the lot.

Have a great day. :D

Hi dt,

Thank you for the welcome.

Yes, I've noticed that some people are just plain bitter, but that's their problem not mine. I don't take it personal, life is too short to worry about things that don't matter. As a matter of fact it's been fun and eye opening. Up until now, I've gotten to see what some gringos thing of Mexico and Mexicans. It makes me wonder why they would want to be in Baja.

Anyway, thanks again!

I wish you a great day.

Yeah, I guess it is. Just so you don't know. Los Cabos was in the middle of nowhere some years ago. Now, we have gringos EVERYWHERE. Today, it's on the map. That is the way things are done here in Mexico. People buy land in the middle of nowhere and make something of it. It take time and effort. NOT everybody wants to live next door to Starbucks. NO town or city in Mexico starts out with streets, malls, school, etc. But I guess this just happens in Mexico.

Cap. I'll get a map to you today. With the new highway being built, services will be available soon. Soon as next year, more or less. It all depends on the government and the amount of lots sold in El Carrizal, as well as the people that buy the lots.

Sorry for the "TEXT" before land. It was a mistake. Sorry to have made the whole post so confusing.

Have a good day.

You are totally right, but I for one will not live long enough to see that. By the way we were in Cabo when the last ferry ran. We have seen much more than I've ever wanted.

Here's a whole hectare for sale in El Carrizal for $20,000 cash.

http://www.bienesonline.com/mexico/detalle-propiedad/TEV2533

That's about 20 cents per foot. You can buy land all over the San Diego County back country with zoning, paved road access and all utilities in for 50 cents per foot, just in case you wanted a dose of reality for comparison. Of course, you wouldn't be in Mexico, but you can see it from there. By the way, the land you are selling is 8,300 square meters and Mexico is only giving gringos fideicomisos for land up to 2,000 square meters. Do you have any suggestions?

capt. mike - 12-11-2009 at 03:05 PM

"Do you have any suggestions?"

well if eye was a developer i'd split it assuming the county allows that.

thx for the mapa BabyZ.
you may need to be prepared to negotiate on that $$ a bit but frankly having flown all over that area i rather like the geography and reasonable drive distance to both the sea and la paz.

a residential airpark would get my attention really quickly. just a thought.

JESSE - 12-11-2009 at 04:35 PM

El Carrizal has been selling lots for 30 years, they had a fairly large operation in Tijuana. They are a completely legal operation as far as i know, but i do find they tend to misrepresent their product a little bit. 30 minutes from Cabo to El Carrizal for example, is just impossible. It takes 40 minutes from Cabo to Todos Santos alone if your a fast driver. I have heard many local realtors stories about people asking them to sell their Carrizal lots, only to find out they are impossible to re-sell because of their location.

Anyways, if your into living in the middle of the desert kind of a, coco's corner kind of person, thats the property for you. They are legit, but, look before you buy.

surebought - 12-11-2009 at 05:09 PM

Zarathustra, How do you interpet the idea of Ubermensch? How do you reconcile Nietzche's proclamation of the Death of God with puritanical ex-patriates? What do you think of the Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Is El Carrizal where the lost Nietzsche cult lives on with the idea of a Will to Power?

You couldn't make El Carrizal from Los Cabos in 30 minutes if you were driving a turbo Carrera and there was no traffic.

My post says: I can sell parts. I can sell all of it. The land is mine so I can negotiate. I'm not selling it because I have economical problems, so I am in no hurry to sell. I hope you're buying a whole lotta land in San Diego, sounds like a very good business. I promise to wave once in a while just in case you're looking Mexico's way.

I posted here about a lot in El Carrizal. I don't have to reconcile anything regarding expatriates or god since I live in my country and I am very respectful towards other people's beliefs. What I think of Nietzsche or "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" I keep to myself since this is not a forum to discuss that.

There are 148.31 km or 92 miles from San Lucas to La Paz.
This is a link so you can verify the distances.

El Carrizal's main entrance is 30 km from La Paz.

at that elevation will allow most all singles and light twins.
bag the golf too - too much eco controversy and maintenance $$.
just some simple lotas and taxiways. can be all dirt no problem.
i have great hangar home and condo plans already in the can.
we can do a common area with cabana "pilot's lounge" and a pool/spa ramada.

1/2 ac lots are sufficient.
1/4 ac for the stacked condo hangars / toy boxes.
here's a plan that's do able = come on Baby Z, let's JV this deal!!

Now your getting into the full of **** mode. I go to Cabo every two weeks and have made that trip for the past 3 years. I am a very fast driver, and i know for a fact, that you can't do it in less than 60 minutes, and thats driving like a maniac disregarding the typical, cows, burros, and goats that make that stretch of road very very dangerous.

You are not #5 since I doubt you have friends at all.
#17 either cause you are the master.
#25 should be your new nick.
#40 doesn't apply since #39 is definitely you.

Good luck with the "caza" don't let the pendejo in the mirror get you off guard.

BabyZ, Loved all the Pendejo definitions. I don't have to worry about you getting sweet talked by any of Los Muchachos. I think the literal translaction is (Woody the Wood(xxxxxx) Head.

Before Zarathustra was born, a very bright light shone all around the house. His birth was a very special event. Most babies cry at birth but baby Zarathustra laughed at birth. This was an indication of the birth of a divine person.

Zarathustra was born in a priestly Spitaman family. The Spitamans had 5 sons in all. Rathushtar, Rangushtar, ZARATHUSTRA, Nodariga and Nivedis.

Soon after his birth an evil man named Durasarun planned to kill Zarathustra. He had heard that Zarathustra was sent by Ahura Mazda to get rid of evil.

The evil men put baby Zarathustra into burning fire, but the angel Asha-Vahishta which look after the fire i.e. Adibest Amesaspand caused the fire to get cold.

Next they placed him in a lane frequented by cattle, with the intention that he would be trampled to death. But Bahman Amesaspand the angel that protect the cattle, came to the rescue by inspiring a cow to stand over him and protect him from the stampede. A similar attempt made by placing him in a passage of horses also failed.

Durasarun continued his efforts to kill Zarathustra. He took him to a wolf cave to be eaten by wolves. Angels Meher Yazad and Sarosh Yazad came to the baby's rescue in the form of goats who suckled the baby, until he was rescued by his parents.

In the end Durasarun tried to carry out the murder himself. He entered Zarathustra's house when all were asleep and was going to strike him with his deadly dagger, when angel Behram Yazad permanently paralysed and twisted his hands so that he could never ever use them again.

From where you're standing, you're a man. From where I'm standing, you're an ape. You're not even an ape. You're a monoloco.

Sofia, this is just the internet. Words aren't clubs and don't kill. You type them, they appear on a monitor and then they evaporate into the ether. They have all the substance of a fart in a windstorm.

Ay te watcho.
