The Weeweechu

Wouldn't be Christmas without.... The Weeweechu

One beautiful December evening, Pedro and and his girlfriend Rosita, were sitting on the sand in Baja. It was so romantic with a full moon. Pedro said, "Mamacita, lets play Weeweechu".

"Oh no, not now, Pedro. Lets just look at the moon," said Rosita.

"Oh c'mon baby. Let's you and me play Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged.

"But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon," said Rosita.

"Please corazoncita. Just once, play Weeweechu with me right here."

Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK. This one time, we'll play Weeweechu."

Pedro grabbed his guitar, began to strum it, and they both sang...........

"Weeweechu a Merry Christmas..... Weeweechu a Merry Christmas.....
Weeweechu a Merry Christmas.....and a Happy New Year."

In the GJ casa.

I tried, but didn't find the very funny caricatures that accompanied the first time we received this email.

Happy Holidays, from the GJ family

Thanks Nena for the great memory. In Honduras, John worked for weeks with his 6th grade students so they could sing We Wish You a Merry Christmas at the school program. -----

they worked on it and worked on it, and then in the program, we heard a very loud and wonderful -----weeweechu

It was great.

Christmastime is for people like you..genuine and full of good cheer.

Bravo and Ole! for 'Weeweechu' again. It will be our new Christmas tradition, too!

In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the Christians called it 'Christmas' and went to church; the Jews called it 'Hanukka' and went to synagogue; the atheists went to parties and drank. People passing each other on the street would say 'Merry Christmas!' or 'Happy Hanukka!' or (to the atheists) 'Look out for the wall!'

Saludos and Feliz Navidad, Roger
