As I sit here on the patio of my little Mexican house in southern Baja I raise my glass to the spirit of Christmas I see in the wonderously gimmering
lights of our Christmas tree. It does not escape me that there are many in these parts who do not have such a tree of light. Many may not have the
lights -- some may not even have such a tree. It occurs to me that some may not even have a comfortable couch like mine to sit on and admire a tree.
There are those who may not have a patio. No patio. No patio at Christmas. Now that is a shame. I wish, for those without, a tree, a patio and a
drink. I have had many drinks which makes me think I bought some booze or stole some from my neighbor Joe. Have not been caught so I might have bought
it outright. For all those with no drinks, sobers, no patios, here's a picture of my glorious tree. If I can get the flocking camera to work. Okay.
here it is.DENNIS - 12-18-2009 at 06:15 PM
I've never seen a tree quite like this one.

Woody, Woody, Woody, I did not stop to consider all the many, many people with Cadillacs and other California eye problems that might make it
impossible for them to see all the pretty lights.Diver - 12-18-2009 at 07:47 PM

I do see the lights, it's the "gimmering" that escapes me.
Jorge: Could you make them "gimmer" in the picture.
