WGBH in Boston broadcast a lovely program celebrating the eighth night.
A chantor (?) sang a song that the announcer said was titled, "Rock of Ages".
It was a lovely, beautiful rendition that brought me to tears.

What you heard was "Ma'oz Tzur", which is Hebrew for "Rock of Ages". I'll let Fran explain it:
