Cant remember if I recommended these in the past and am too lazy to search this morning.
First the white: Trivento RESERVE Chardonnay 05 or 07. About 140 pesos per bottle.
Adobe Reserva Emiliana Cabernet Sauvignon 07-organic grower from Chile. About the same price, maybe a little higher.
Both of these are the best versions of these grapes I've had since I left California. Yes, I can still buy some CA wines down here but it's been great
fun trying all the offering from Sud America.
Graffigna Centenario Reserve Pinot Grigio 08. This is not a grape I am that familiar with. Usually too thin for my palette. But I needed to buy one
cold for an immediate outing and the selection was limited. OUTSTANDING! Easily the best PG I have ever had. 130 pesos.

Hook: is this the PG? SWMBO likes the stuff so I'm always trying to obey....
Not to stray too far off

I'm trolling BevMo the other day and pick up a half dozen Pinot Grigios for my wife and serve this for the aperitif wine at an Xmas buffet (pronounced
'boo-fey' in Vegas). Everybody liked it but then someone read the back label - it's a celebrity wine made by the guy who writes the songs the WHOLE
world sings. Boy, did I get razzed big time as we only hang with blues folks.

I think that's it. Does it say Reserve on it? If not, maybe it isnt. But I would try it just the same.
We are now seeing some Graffigna red wines in the supermarkets over here. More wines to try.
