Mexico's Nuclear submarine goes down

wessongroup - 12-30-2009 at 12:55 PM

The AP just reported that one of Mexico's newest Nuclear submarine was lost with all hands in a shake down cruise of the coast of Baja approximately 478 nautical miles to the West South West of Cabo San Lucas.

Details are sketchy at this time, but it was announced by the Department of the Navy, that the Submarine, The Carlos Zapata foundered on it's second dive.

The Captain, had just ordered the vessel to a depth of 50 meters, when the Adobe walls collapsed.

Glad we haven't gotten so up tight that we can't just laugh at something really silly... but funny, much to much reality around.. death, destruction, job loss, who's car the best and all the rest...

Couldn't see where to post a joke.. and to show everyone is fair game.. as life is; should, will, can... be FUN..

It's bad out there, but we see good too, lets relax a bit and have a Happy New Year... don't do anything you will regret the next day.... too much :):)

You folks have given me a lot of fun, wake up calls, information, knowledge .. this list goes on.. thanks

And again, it's just for fun, hope you all enjoy...... Here comes the U.S. Navy

Wow, I live in a Mexican Navy Town and I always confront the Brass when I see them with: How can you have a Navy without one single Submarine? It doesn't make any sence. How are you going to protect this City? Why even bother trying? Not even one Diesel let alone a Nuclear. I hope that's not a State Secret. I try so hard trying to keep these seniors to less than a case of beer a day. Its my life's work. I guess I'm going to fail with that one. LOL.
