This link is maybe a stretch but I have had a lot of weird experiences camping here in the past and will no longer stop there.

I have camped at El Tomatal many times over the years and have never noticed anything weird. It is one of our favorite stops on the way down, 2 years
ago we made friends with some folks at the fish camp there and they sent us packing with 10 lobsters and refused to take anything for them.

I've been to Tomatal dozens of times and love it. It is a natural place for ocean things to wash up which may account for all the marine
skeletons...next best beachcombing to Malarrimo and way way easier to get there. I have found baleen plates there even.
It is a favorite spot to hold evangeical christian revival type campouts too. It's a really terrific beach....check it out!

Have camped at El Tomatal many times since the 70's. Only 'wierd' thing that ever happened was my dune buggy disappeared into the ocean when this
huge tide came up while we were...um...asleep on the beach.
shari...next time you are beachcombing there, keep your eyes open for a Mercedes-fronted VW buggy. Approach with caution. I doubt it is haunted, but
take no chances.

Roger that roger....come to think of it...Tomatal is one of my all time favorite baja beaches and far underrated...it has so much diversity and lots
of areas to explore...great hiking in both directions...fantastic camping with protected spots you can tuck into on the dunes...deep sand...nobody
there usually...good boogie boarding...close to the highway for a quick dip if ya need one while travelling and as I mentioned outstanding beach
combing.

When you go camping there take some pictures in the pitch blackness with your digital camera with flash to see if any orbs appear on camera. I did
