The Case of the Blurred Beers

Pompano - 1-5-2010 at 08:03 AM

Operator error...or perhaps something more sinister?

I doubt that even Photoshop could do anything to salvage this photo.

DENNIS - 1-5-2010 at 08:07 AM

Somebody's on the famous Hershey Bar Diet, I see. :light:

The Gull - 1-5-2010 at 08:12 AM

Looks like the start of a good day.

Skipjack Joe - 1-5-2010 at 08:17 AM

I'll gladly tell you on Tuesday for a hamburger today.

I've seen 'em like that too. That's when I stagger off to get something to eat.

Hey...who left those Hershey bars in my beer fridge? Was that you, Dennis? Thanks, but I never touch 'em.

Of course Photoshop can help---time to get creative and say you did it on purpose!

Skipjack Joe - 1-5-2010 at 12:04 PM

Not a single Dos Equis. This one's beyond repair.

tripledigitken - 1-5-2010 at 12:06 PM

Are those with almonds?

toneart - 1-5-2010 at 12:38 PM

I like my Hershey bars with a high end Cabernet. To consider them with beer, well....the beers would have to be blurry. I get it, Roger!

Agree about the chocolate and Cabernet, try Oreo's. Sounds crazy, but they pair!

Now, beer and chocolate, there is a pairing..............Try a good stout and chocolate, delicious.

The Gull - 1-5-2010 at 02:28 PM

:lol::lol::lol:

DENNIS - 1-5-2010 at 03:01 PM

Guinness Draught has a chocolate flavor at first sip. Seems to diminish after the second case.
Does anybody care?

BajaNuts - 1-5-2010 at 09:05 PM

Nuts????

Did someone say 'Nuts? I'M HERE! uh, what was the question?

OH YEAH! My beers look like that all the time. I thought that was the way they are supposed to look! uhoh! ya mean they're NOT supposed to be b-l-u-r-r-y???

More evidence...

Mexray - 1-6-2010 at 12:02 AM

...that real men pour Pacifico on their cornflakes for that early morning pick-me-up...

From what I can see from here...

Mexray - 1-6-2010 at 12:06 AM

...It looks like the 'USE BY' date is drawing near on those lonely looking bottles...I think we should all stop by this afternoon to help liberate the contents before they become skanky...

Iflyfish - 1-6-2010 at 12:16 AM

Try dipping ginger snaps, the cheap ones are just fine, in your red wine...delicious! Italians have a ginger biscotti and that's where I got the idea. Addictive.

I know you don't believe me, but I'm not kidding.

I know the feeling

drunk.jpg - 37kB

I HAVE A DREAM...THOUGH SOMEWHAT BLURRED.

Pompano - 1-6-2010 at 07:56 AM

"Thai monks from the Sisaket province have used over one million recycled bottles to construct their Buddhist temple. Mindfulness is at the center of the Buddhist discipline and the dedication and thoughtfulness required to build everything from the toilets to their crematorium from recycled bottles shows what creativity and elbow grease can accomplish."

Time to roll up our sleeves and get to work!

Had I saved all my Pacifico bottles, I could have built a shopping mall. Oh well, it's never too late to start.

I know the feeling, Dennnis. I have dozens of 5-gallon pails full of Pacifico bottle caps in my garage. I hate to throw them away..as each cap has a memory, albeit blurred.

Another dream I had is to make lots of fish scalers from these pails.... by nailing 2 or 3 of the caps to a wooden shim.

Hey..I may patent that idea!

Silly question

Since you don't eat the skin why scale 'em first?

Dave...Dave..

Pompano - 1-6-2010 at 10:16 AM

You must not have ever eaten freshly scaled walleye, pumpkinseeds, brill, sunfish, crappies, or personal pan-size red snapper..with skin on.

Shirley you jest?

Nope. Had them served that way but I peeled away the skin.

Dave,

On of my favorite Sushi items is Salmon Skin rolls. That's right just the skin.

Roger,
I have it on good authority, the remedy:

The hair of the dog...drink two cervezas first thing in the morning, before coffee or brushing your teeth. Your hand holding the camera will be much steadier.:wow:

Guess that proves...
