The same boat you sold about a year ago? What's up.

rts551 - 1-12-2010 at 01:27 PM

Same one that came from Texas for free?

Lauriboats - 1-12-2010 at 02:11 PM

It is a great boat, I am trying to talk my husband into buying it back from Gary. Gary loves the boat, but his wife wants a bigger one. The boat is in great shape and Gary added some extras to the boat. Some boats just catch fish and this is one of those. Half a day fishing in Bahia Asuncion my husband caught 16 really nice tuna. Ask Gary about the yellow tail he recently caught in Mulege.

I can't believe you let him sell it in the first place. That boat is perfect!
Can't wait to see ya'll next year. Save us a spot in Asuncion..

Laurie...I figured out the photos!

Pompano - 1-12-2010 at 06:05 PM

Here they are, Laurie...looks like a nice boat. Hope this helps. Good luck, Gary.

Wow, Finaddict, that really is an awesome boat. Have you given up fishing? No....wait...what about that 50 pound yellowtail you brought over the other day? Seems like you and your boat have the right Mulege Mojo, Baby!

Warning Warning Warning (Lost -in- Space)
Was not this boat for sale last year for less money?
http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=36605#pid3875...
Do boats there appreciate in value as they get older?
Was it in the flood?
Are not we in a recession?
Are not prices supposed to go down?
I have to get my stuff down there.

Someday you may need some friends in Mulege.

tripledigitken - 2-5-2010 at 05:29 PM

I don't know why you think someone is getting screwed?

Adjusting a price is their right, in fact adjusting prices up in Mexico is a tradition.

I think Kat 54 needs an attitude adjustment or needs to spend some time in BCS where Costco is not across the street Wake up and smell the roses

He is only asking $100 more asking price (O.B.O.) and has added new batteries, and yes, good boats kept in immaculate shape do retain their value...

Lauriboats - 2-6-2010 at 08:21 AM

I also happen to know that Gary added more extras then the just Batteries, he is just trying to sell the boat for what he has in it. The boat is in better shape now than when we sold it to him and the big plus, it is already here in Baja ready to fish. The boat was not in the flood.

I have seen this boat, been in it, and know it to be a fine hull and engine.

Whatever he wants to sell it for .. is Gary's option & business, but I personally know that it's a bargain and worth it.

First off..it's HERE already. From Mulege to SD it's a 1240 mile round trip. Food, fuel, motels, general expenses. You can add $1000 cost to 'anything' you have to go to San Diego from Mulege and bring back.

I know..believe me...those damn In-and-Out cheeseburgers!

capt. mike - 2-6-2010 at 04:24 PM

that's why i was firm on my RV trailer when i sold it - it WAS ALREADY down there!!
man there's value in that.
i hope i NEVER have to trailer another one down.
i'll just buy sumthin that's already there - worth it!!

lapazhawk - 2-9-2010 at 05:11 AM

I'd like to see your boat, when is a good time to come up there. What is the area code there so I can give you a call.

Guy's it's only half way down if you live in La Ventana

lapazhawk - 2-12-2010 at 07:39 AM

This boat found its way down to the East Cape and will be fishing Isla Cerralvo. SOLD.

Lauriboats - 2-12-2010 at 12:04 PM

Congratulations, enjoy!

Pompano - 2-12-2010 at 12:22 PM

Congrats on selling...and buying.

One down..one to go. My Trophy will be on the market again...SOON! SOON!

(Just as soon as I catch that last remaining yellowtail out there....)

lapazhawk - 2-12-2010 at 04:56 PM

Get after those last yellows. They are starting to show at Cerralvo, seen a 40 pounder come in last week and heard of some others being caught on the yo-yo. Can't wait to get to get out there, I love Iron. HAWK
