I missed this. Are the Palapa homes at Playa Punta Arena burned? why- details? Can you still camp there?

nothing left there and there is a chain across the road but we were granted permision to camp there and paid 60 pesos a day...nice and quiet compared
to the overcroweded Playa naranjos.
There was a big thread about the story of the houses being torched....maybe the search engine here might find it.
