I saw one today off Loreto. Between town and the north end of Isla Carmen. It was heading west, then minutes later turned south, and about five

Back some forty years ago I crossed the Gulf from San Felipe to Guyamas Sonora in a Shrimp boat that looked similar to that one, but it was in a lot
better shape. A sling was set up aft where you hooked yourself in to go to the bathroom. Kind of cool.

I'm not up to speed on this issue and how the current Laws and Regulations governing same are written or interpreted
I see there are current laws on the books governing Environmental issues of concern.
Could this type of fishing be considered or proven to be in non compliance with current Environmental Laws of Mexico?
Again, I'm sure this question has been asked and answered before, but could not bring it up on a search

Was just interested in "how" the law was written and if it could be applied to this type of fishing..
Enforcement is another topic all togather as I know you are aware
However, if one does have a law to start with, well... it is a law and it is on the books
