Great looking place!
Looks like lots of work went into the place.roamingthroughbaja - 1-18-2010 at 10:38 AM
Yes, it's very comfortable.k-rico - 1-18-2010 at 11:39 AM
I'm not familar with the particular area of La Paz. City water, electricity? Septic tank?roamingthroughbaja - 1-18-2010 at 11:42 AM
Electricity, phone, septic tank on site. Water is trucked in to this community (El Comitan). Depending on how much you use, the average cost is 600
pesos per month.Udo - 1-18-2010 at 09:04 PM
The most impressive palapa I have seen on Nomads, yet!
I wish I was a little closer to moving there at this time.
I have looked at this post link about 30 times so far. Just gorgeous!djh - 1-19-2010 at 07:34 AM
RTB,
Please check your U2U, thanks.
Nice place. I imagine it is difficult to say goodbye to it !

Price Reduced! Huge RV lot near La Paz
roamingthroughbaja - 2-6-2010 at 06:55 AM
Just spoke with the owners of this lot. They are anxious to sell and have reduced the price to $109,900.Howard - 2-6-2010 at 09:37 AM
Does anyone know who built the palapa? If so, please contact me as that would look great on my property in Loreto.longlegsinlapaz - 2-7-2010 at 08:47 AM
Just out of curiosity....what's in the block room area under the stairs....bano?....equipment room (water heater/water pressure holding
tank)?....storage? Some of the above? All of the above?
That's a huge price reduction!bajabass - 2-7-2010 at 03:44 PM
Good eye
Legs!
Maybe...?

Maybe these ? and those other items.... (water heater/water pressure holding tank)?....storage? Some of the above? All of the above?
BTW, the folks selling this great place (Robin and Miriam) are very nice folks !
If I didn't already own in Loreto, I would snap this up in a heartbeat..... Just close enough to the water, and just far enough from the business of
LaPaz.
djhlonglegsinlapaz - 2-7-2010 at 07:29 PM
As stated....that was just curiosity speaking....I'M NOT PERSONALLY INTERESTED in the property! I'm still working
on finish detail on the 3rd casa I've built here in 10 years! Simply curiosity on my part!
Too rustic for Dr. Mrsbajabass family, especially since Mr. Drbajabass will be out playing fisherman all day rather than adding on rooms!!
Wrong Bait ?
djh - 2-8-2010 at 07:10 AM
Legs,
Maybe you're using the wrong bait....?
Try a few cold ones.... right next to the tool belt, in that unfinished casa... But be prepared to slam the door shut ~ trapping a slightly tipsy,
more willing builder.
bajabass - 2-8-2010 at 07:12 AM
My dear, I am very serious about my fishing! Right you are Legs, building a
house, or enlarging one would have a negative effect on the Dow index, meaning Days On Water!! Nice place if I had a nice motorhome. They are just a
little cumbersome for my tastes.roamingthroughbaja - 2-8-2010 at 07:25 AM
Under the stairs on the RHS facing the building there is a bano w/ shower. The LHS is a workshop and bodega, pump room, etc. Upstairs under the
palapa is a living area, full kitchen and bedroom. The lot is huge...lots of room for a house/pool/garage, etc., but very comfortable with an RV
also.
This property isn't ours. It belongs to two good friends of ours who are living up in the States right now.bajabass - 3-29-2010 at 01:33 PM
My wife was in La Paz last week house-hunting. From the outside the place looks very nice! The RV enclosure could be walled and glassed in. I would
really like to see some fine detail pictures of the entire house. Workshop, pump room, RV area foundation, and roof from underneath. I will be in La
Paz late April/early June. Thanks, U2U if you like.Barbareno - 4-15-2010 at 04:22 AM
Roamingthroughbaja is there any chance you can get that link to work again? Did the place sell? Thanks.roamingthroughbaja - 4-15-2010 at 05:45 AM
Thanks for opening it up again.rhintransit - 4-15-2010 at 06:57 AM
just noticed roamingthrubaja's recent post on two other lots in the area. hum.roamingthroughbaja - 4-15-2010 at 06:58 AM
There are actually four other lots, two 20 X 40, and two 40 X 40. Maybe prices are finally starting to fall in this area.comitan - 4-15-2010 at 03:47 PM
Just one thing Robin its Comitan not CometanBajahowodd - 4-15-2010 at 03:56 PM
Just wondering how it can be cool and comfortable under the palapas in July, August and September in La Paz.comitan - 4-15-2010 at 04:21 PM
Here's the poop, in July & 1st 2 weeks August just fine. The last 2 weeks August. Sept. 1st 2 weeks October Humid,Humid. an other bit of info its
about 6 degrees cooler in Comitan than La Paz.roamingthroughbaja - 4-15-2010 at 07:26 PM
The owners of this property slept upstairs during the summer, but sometimes the humidity drove them downstairs to the airconditioned RV. Hey! It's an
RV lot...generally seasonal, but the owners lived there full time for 5 years. It really is a nice property.roamingthroughbaja - 9-1-2010 at 01:28 PM
Got an email from the owners today to say they really need to sell, so please let everyone know they will reduce their price to $89,900. I have lots
more pictures if anyone is interested.
Price reduced again to $75,000
roamingthroughbaja - 1-16-2011 at 07:53 AM
These folks really need to sell this place and have reduced the price to $75,000. That's less than they've put into it. Anyone interested?absinvestor - 1-17-2011 at 01:15 PM
The link doesn't work for me. Any other link for pictures?longlegsinlapaz - 1-17-2011 at 02:09 PM
You can zero in on that listing if you sort by price.
[Edited on 1-24-2011 by BajaNomad]roamingthroughbaja - 1-17-2011 at 03:57 PM
Yes, if you go to www.lapaz-centenariohomes.com and click on El Centenario in the menu to the left, the listings appear by price and you can scroll down to $75,000.captain4tuna - 1-24-2011 at 02:13 PM
It sounds stupid I know but when I clicked your link, it asked me for username and password....Would like to see your lot. Thanksroamingthroughbaja - 1-24-2011 at 03:50 PM
I don't know why it's doing that, but don't click the link. Instead, just type www.lapaz-centenariohomes.com in the address bar of your browser. When the home page comes up, look at the left hand side and click on El
Centenario. The listings come up in price order, and the RV lot is the only property listed at $75,000. I'll U2U for your email address and send you
pictures. Let me know if it works.captain4tuna - 3-16-2011 at 08:20 PM
Is this still available? link is asking me to log in.........????roamingthroughbaja - 3-16-2011 at 08:33 PM
Not sure why the link is doing that. Go to www.lapaz-centenariohomes.com. Click on the menu item to the left "All listings by price" and scroll down to $75,000. Let me know if you need
any more information. The owners are REALLY anxious to sell and are open to offers.roamingthroughbaja - 3-16-2011 at 09:12 PM
Yes, times are really tough. We have some beautiful homes listed, and almost no hope of selling them. This place is priced below what they have into
it. Really a shame. It is a buyer's market.
Another reduction...it's gotta sell at $47,500
roamingthroughbaja - 10-13-2011 at 09:47 AM
Hi all,
The owners of this RV lot are settled in Arizona and really want to sell. You can find information and photos on our website at www.lapaz-centenariohomes.com, click on the El Centenario menu tab and scroll down by price. The property is fully walled, with an RV pad,
bodega, bano, outside living space, stairs up to a large roof top living area, fire pit. On Street 1 in El Comitan.roamingthroughbaja - 10-18-2011 at 05:14 AM

Price reduced from $109,900 to $89,900 to $75,000 to $47,500. (This is not good for the real estate business!) This is a great vacation or year round
property on a large lot (1500+ m2) with lots of room to expand. The property is fully walled with electric gate. El Comitan is a small neighbourhood
on the Bay of La Paz. This property is just a five minute walk to the beach, 3 restaurants and a corner store. 20 minutes drive to downtown La Paz, 5

*Large upstairs living area with palapa roof has bedroom, full kitchen and living area.
* Large workshop.
* Separate 3 piece bathroom.
* Second story firepit area.
* Views of the Bay of La Paz and mountains.
To build shown structure + wall would be about 20-30K in today's construction market ? just curiousUdo - 10-19-2011 at 06:32 PM
I know we will come by to look at this lot when we come down in December. Along the way, we will stop by and visit with Wiley in Comitan.
I'll U2 for directions, Wiley.roamingthroughbaja - 10-19-2011 at 07:06 PM
They spent almost $20,000 on the walls alone. The road side wall has two gates and iron work, the 2 sides and back are 10 ft high. In all, they have
around $100,000 invested.Udo - 10-19-2011 at 07:09 PM
WOW!
Finally sold!
roamingthroughbaja - 3-13-2012 at 08:54 AM
Hi Everyone,
Just to let you know the RV lot has sold. Papers were signed last week. Prices sure are dropping in the area...we know of some properties that are
40-50% of the original asking price. Sure is a buyer's market! Thanks for your interest and comments.
