Electricity, phone, septic tank on site. Water is trucked in to this community (El Comitan). Depending on how much you use, the average cost is 600 pesos per month.

BTW, the folks selling this great place (Robin and Miriam) are very nice folks !

If I didn't already own in Loreto, I would snap this up in a heartbeat..... Just close enough to the water, and just far enough from the business of LaPaz.

As stated....that was just curiosity speaking....I'M NOT PERSONALLY INTERESTED in the property! I'm still working on finish detail on the 3rd casa I've built here in 10 years! Simply curiosity on my part!

Too rustic for Dr. Mrsbajabass family, especially since Mr. Drbajabass will be out playing fisherman all day rather than adding on rooms!! :rolleyes:

Under the stairs on the RHS facing the building there is a bano w/ shower. The LHS is a workshop and bodega, pump room, etc. Upstairs under the palapa is a living area, full kitchen and bedroom. The lot is huge...lots of room for a house/pool/garage, etc., but very comfortable with an RV also.

This property isn't ours. It belongs to two good friends of ours who are living up in the States right now.

My wife was in La Paz last week house-hunting. From the outside the place looks very nice! The RV enclosure could be walled and glassed in. I would really like to see some fine detail pictures of the entire house. Workshop, pump room, RV area foundation, and roof from underneath. I will be in La Paz late April/early June. Here's the poop, in July & 1st 2 weeks August just fine. The last 2 weeks August. Sept. 1st 2 weeks October Humid,Humid. an other bit of info its about 6 degrees cooler in Comitan than La Paz.

The owners of this property slept upstairs during the summer, but sometimes the humidity drove them downstairs to the airconditioned RV. Hey! It's an RV lot...generally seasonal, but the owners lived there full time for 5 years. It really is a nice property.

I don't know why it's doing that, but don't click the link. Instead, just type www.lapaz-centenariohomes.com in the address bar of your browser. When the home page comes up, look at the left hand side and click on El Centenario. The listings come up in price order, and the RV lot is the only property listed at $75,000. Yes, times are really tough. We have some beautiful homes listed, and almost no hope of selling them. This place is priced below what they have into it. Really a shame. It is a buyer's market.

They spent almost $20,000 on the walls alone. The road side wall has two gates and iron work, the 2 sides and back are 10 ft high. In all, they have around $100,000 invested.
