I've heard some rumors of inclement weather up north of us somewhere. I'm usually not one to give advice but way down here, when it gets intolerable
(4 or 5 degrees off) we just leave for a while, find better conditions nearby. So this morning, over coffee, I decided I could not abide the whole day
here in this sweltering 80 º, no wind doldrums and I struck out for a day at Canyon Aguas Caliente. The canyons were a delight. Couple more photos

Man, I heard the same thing, but with the south wind blowing last night the thermometer went up to 72 degrees at night and stayed kinda warm and balmy
all day today. I think we need to not let the cat out of the bag about how bad we are suffering down here or those silly snowbirds will be flocking
to the feeders. But then, we might try giving them the hummingbird treatment and spray them with Rit Dye at the watering holes. Then we can compare
notes as they flit up and down the road and you can pay special attention if I send you a note that I sprayed a white haired Canadian couple with
Electric Blue or Fuschia and you could be on the lookout for them as they come "buzzing" through town. We could probably even get a more

Lots of rare Brazilwood trees (only found in the Mexican tropics) dot the hillsides in the Aquas Caliente canyon. They are of two distinct types:
those which are highly photographed and admired, those stripped of bark and limbs by campers. Can only hope they are well scattered and will stay
under the protection of the National Park System.

It does get a little toasty down there in the summer. On the plus side, the fishing is still great, and a lot less people! No rain down there
