I especially like your first picture, Don - the shadow and light - everything still except for a couple of boids in the sky and that panga moving along in the water. Very nice.

In your last picture I see what appear to be baby egrets. Are they really babies? They're so cute!

Lots of birds in Loreto this time of year. Literally rains pelicans most afternoons now. Great group shot of pelicans, Heermann's gulls, double-crested cormorants, great egrets, and snowy egrets. The great egrets are the larger of the white birds. Seen together their size tells them apart, separately you can remember that the snowy has a black beak and yellow feet, while the great egret has the reverse.
