My wife and I were accompanied by my friend Mike to the Angeles National Forest just above Lytle Creek, CA.
Leidys and I enjoying ourselves in 4WD country.
There was an explosion - look at the poor guy bent over who opened his radiator!!
He recovered from his injuries, but his Grand Cherokee was D.O.A. without a radiator hose
Our good friend Mike had a great time in the snow and we were happy to have invited him along with us.
Nothing like fresh powder for 4WD action!
Leidys loved the big dogs that played in the snow on Saturday.
Leidys told everyone that she had only seen snow on Television, and this was her first time in it. This photo sums up the good time she had
throughout the day.

Never a bad thing, Jose. We're going back to the desert in a few weeks. I'll hand her the keys and watch her 'wheel it! bajabass - 1-30-2010 at 04:02 PM
Hey Ken, if she drives like my wife, make sure you added her to the insurance!!Ken Cooke - 1-30-2010 at 04:17 PM

That might be a good idea. But, we'll be way out in the boonies. I'll make sure there are no other people around before she lets the clutch out.bajabass - 1-30-2010 at 04:26 PM
Just move all the trees and boulders out of the way. Myriam has target fixation, BIG TIME!!! See it, then hit it.Ken Cooke - 1-30-2010 at 04:27 PM

That's a good one bro!! I am really glad to see both of you so happy! I

Leidys was talking to her friends about the snow just yesterday. Explaining how fun it was to be surrounded by it for the first time. I hope we can
get back up in the snow one more time before it's all gone this year.Bajahowodd - 1-30-2010 at 06:05 PM
Ken- Your photos are so real! Your beautiful wife looks like she has died and gone to heaven. Such a portrait of blissful innocence. So lucky are you.
It is all so uplifting. I feel so much better for having viewed your post.Ken Cooke - 1-30-2010 at 06:25 PM
My Mother says she, "Thanks God that Leidys was brought to our family". My Father unfortunately passed away (in April) wishing to have met her - the
Visa process kept her out of the United States until we were "approved." After a marriage in '01 filled with LOCURA and In-Laws from Hell, this is
thankfully, a great relationship filled with love, respect, and Latinisimo.
Her family back in Colombia miss her greatly, but my Mother and I (and the rest of my family) are so happy that she is here with us.
Saying "Goodbye" to her family in Colombia
