Road conditions on the South side of Reserva Biosphera Sierra Laguna

I am planning a dirt bike trip in about one week. I would like to cross over from the Pacific side of Baja near Todos Santos on the South side of the Laguna Mts. Biosphere Reserve and arrive in Santa Anita, just North of the Cabo airport. The Baja Almanac shows a road system that passes through El Aguaje, San Pedro de la Soledad, San Miguelito and on to Santa Anita. Can anyone give me a recent report on the condition of this road system? Thank you.

That is the 'Naranjas Road' (page 233, The Baja Adventure Book 3rd edition. Walt Peterson called it a "civil engineering disaster-in-the-making")

Constant repairs and washouts...

I have seen it spelled 'Naranjos' as well... Perhaps use Nomad search (top left corner) with both spellings to see if anything recent has been posted... ?

If you do drive it, please post a report her and take photos!
Thanks

I have friends that were over that road a couple of weeks ago, they said it's fine for cycles, quads and 4x4's that are not big and pretty. large trucks and family suvs should stay home as it is rocky and narrow at the top, and you could scratch your paint or roll over a cliff.... It is raining now so that could change fast......Have fun!

Here is a post by Pappy Jon who rode the Naranjas Road in 2006: http://forums.bajanomad.com/viewthread.php?tid=16170

You won't have any problems on a bike.
