It was quite a storm last night. Only lasted a few hours but I had 2/3" of rain and a thunder and lightening show that was at times a bit scary. No
boken windows but I was wondering if it was any closer what would happen. Soooo everything is clean and there are some big puddles. Not sure about the
road in, too early yet, but I suspect 4x4 might be needed at the majon. Any way here are some shots of the morning for your coffee and paper.

A small break in the clouds showed off the moon.

Beautiful! We are waiting for some more rain here in San Diego County, but dry so far this week.

Really like the first shot, the clouds are spectacular.. just don't get to see a light show up here, or at least not yet... would like to see one..

I really love the crisp clean air after a rain here. And these big'ol clouds. These are about a half hour later than the first batch.

Used to work in the desert, and it used to just make everything "jump out" for a smell standpoint..... I can't imagine the smells you guys get down
there after a rain.. can't you take a picture of that too please..

That last shot in the second batch is a real winner Russ! The layering of clouds, clear, and water is cool!

its really clear here today...
great battery day
i saw alot of boats go out this morning
i thought you had to wait a
couple of days after a storm to snag the fish
Don Alley - 2-3-2010 at 07:59 AM
Wow, more great shots. Thanks.
Looks like a great day here today, but few boats going out this morning. Probably because the fishing is slow?
Meany - 2-3-2010 at 08:11 AM
Great shots Russ. You made my coffee alot better!
shari - 2-3-2010 at 09:02 AM
love the 1st shot...major dark clouds! Yesterday we got only one squall here that lasted about 15 minutes but I could see other squalls out at sea and
Juan, David and Kevin got caught in one when they were out fishing. They got lots of white fish, cabrilla, bonita and yellowtail.
It's a partly sunny but very blustery morning with the wind out of the WNW at about 18 knots and chilly...morning everybody

3 more at 8:45 today
