It's long enough to be a novel, but provides some valuable information and photos for any current and future Baja roadtrippers. A large part of it
details being stuck in Baja during the storms two weeks ago, including photos and videos of some of the carnage. Hope you enjoy.

Welcome to BajaNomad, Cyrus. Looks like a good read. I'll have to do it in sections.
Do you have plans to put your "journal" into print?
Thanks.

I'm think I'm going to someday put all my travel journals together and make an attempt at putting them into print, we'll see. Thanks for the kind
words Dennis!

cyrus- Welcome and thanks for the post. I enjoyed the read and the photos. I always welcome a different perspective on a sojourn down and up Baja. I
have two comments for you. First, I was just a tad surprised to see you refer to San Jose del Cabo in quite such a negative manner. The area is
surrounded by open ocean and the air tends to move most of the time. I think your perspective may have been influenced by the location of the condo
where you were staying. Even years ago, before car dealers and movie theaters, the fourlane in that area hosted an enormous amount of truck traffic.
It has been noisy and exhaust riddled for decades. But I think your blanket statement about San Jose does a disservice to most of the town.
On the other hand, while I never thought of it quite that way, a comparison between Guerrero Negro and Bakersfield borders on genius!

Thank you very much for the kind words. Bajahowodd, I didn't mean to disrespect San Jose - towards the end of the section about San Jose, I thought I
was expressing my change of tune, that it had actually grown on me and I grew very fond of the place. I know I was negative at the beginning of the
San Jose section, apologies if I ruffled yours or anyone else's feathers. I was just trying to honestly portray my feelings when I first arrived.
I'm actually a huge fan of San Jose, especially when compared to San Lucas.
Thank you and ELINVESTIG8R again for reading the story and giving your honest opinions. Really cool.

Was the lance camper that was stuck on the road to Coco's corner carried on a Red Flat-bed, customized to carry the camper? If so, they were also at
Malarrimo's and have a place in San Felipe--we were surprized when they took off. I was also at Malarrimo's, but waited till Hwy One was passable and
ventured North on Wed. We did not have any problems.
