TIJUANA — Two sisters, one of them pregnant, were arrested Monday afternoon in possession of weapons, a result of an investigation conducted by
Baja’s State Preventive Police (PEP).
Police received information provided anonymously to the area’s tip number.
Emilia Pimentel Gomez, 23, and Sarai Pimentel Gomez, 20, were found at a street in the Colonia Benito Juárez, in La Presa area.
They were parked in a black Nissan Pathfinder, and near a green Ford Windstar, the PEP said.
While making a review to the Windstar vehicle, PEP agents found five rifles, one gun and numerous chargers and bullets.
The older sister, Emilia — who is four months pregnant — claimed to own the Windstar vehicle, the PEP said. She also said to the agents that she was
hired to take care of the black Pathfinder.
Officers checked the serial number of the Pathfinder and found that the SUV was reported stolen Jan. 29 in Chula Vista.
Both women were arrested and taken to the Federal Prosecutor to determine their legal status.

They didn't do anything wrong.
They were just out shopping and needed a little protection.
Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, "Gun Moll"
