different route. Not sure on the valve if its correct thread/size etc for common hookup?

I don't think the 100# (20 gal) tanks require the new safety type valves. But, tanks like that are available at the segundo's here in San Felipe for
about $20.

They call that a 45 KILO tank down here. Works out to around 100 LBS of gas. I think Lou said that.
They're about 65 dollars new here these days. Peso keeps getting stronger and it will be 70 bucks in a couple of weeks.
Can't believe someone up there doesn't snatch it.
