Odd that story was just published this weekend, as the Tecate trips are not possible since a fire in the tunnel on the Mexican side...
This is a unique train line in that it crosses an international border, underground!

Tunnel #3 on the Mexican railway portion of the line (The Tijuana & Tecate Railway) has recently suffered a fire. At this time, all Ticket to
Tecate trains have been suspended. This is a devastating blow to our Museum operations, and we encourage you to come up to Campo to experience our
