Easter is April 4th so the week before will be busy with traffic and a great boost for the locals. Those that work anyway.

we've noticed the week after easter has alot of vacationers too...
whatever you do...
DO NOT try to cross back to the USA on easter sunday
lots of traffic...maybe a 4 hour wait
in fact... mex 1 is horrible at the army check points
they check every car
lots of waiting
