Quick update- as you may know several of us here at Posada Concepcion had their house damage claim totally rejected without reason by Bancomer after
hurricane Jamina. As luck would have it, Bancomer does business in California. This offers some options for using California attorneys to explore

Best of luck in your fight against BANCOMER. They are an unethical institution with some unethical employees (aka thieves) who unabashedly steal from
their customers. We lost $1000 US to Bancomer vice president, Jorge Zetina, in La Paz, during a fideicomiso transaction. Our $1000 US deposit
disappeared, and we were told our Bancomer receipt "was no good." Go figure!

I can tell you first hand that things have not improved at Bancomer in 20 years. I anxiously await the end of this year when I get Mexican citizenship
and permanently divorce Bancomer.
Long story short. After Bancomer so unabashedly ripped us off, we waited 20 years —until we could wait no longer because time had run out on our
30-year-fideicomiso—to finally transfer from the former owner's name to ours. Our fideicomiso was the second oldest in Loreto (1979-2009) —Kimbrels
being the oldest. In the end the transaction cost more than $10,000 and took more than a year. Why? Repeated inaction on Bancomer's part, with our
appraisal and various paperwork expiring at the Notary's office every 60 days. Employee after employee quit Bancomer. The "correct" office changed
locations.
Happy ending? HA! We are now the proud holders of an expired fideicomiso, but ($10,000+ later) at least it is in our names!

Absolutely nothing I know of. We had no reason to suspect the vice president of Bancomer, sitting at his desk in La Paz, was a thief who would use his
position as an opportunity to steal from us. We were not his only victims.
Philosophically your question is sort of like asking a woman who has been raped what she could have done differently to have prevented it, or what she
could have possibly done to provoke such an assault.
There are unethical people across all walks of life.
