thanks. was wondering if it was am tall story or not.a friend of a friend(both old time baja explorers) claimed he saw it in the 60's.I
wonder...perhaps he knew all along and just wanted to see just how long we would pursue it!

I do have the GPS of the plane wreck on the slope of Cerro la Gobernadora, between Calamajue and Punta Prieta (just NE of El Crucero). Bill B hiked up
to it a few months ago, while he was searching for an acess to the Salsipuedes canyon. Another plane wreck is on the north dry lake (Laguna Seca), NW
of Bahia de L.A. (I have that GPS as well).
