Hey Hook!

Tomorrow everybody reports - I'm thinking the Giants pitching might just over come their bats this year. Gonna finish above the Dodgers, you think?

Go Blue!

Are you dreaming?

Howard - 2-22-2010 at 10:06 PM

the only chance your Giants have is at least 2 of the 3 happens.

They bring back Willie Mays
They bring back Juan Antonio Marichal Sánchez
They hijack the Dodgers plane

No way, Santiago. Still no offense for the Giants. You are forgetting how many good young players the Dodgers have. They are entering their prime.

I am thinking that it's time for some arm problems for Lincecum, too.

I begin my tour of MLB parks this summer. No set plan yet, except I hope to get up into the New England states. Speaking of which, what a battle that is going to be in the AL East! The Yankees and the Sox have incredible teams.

Angels have a real challenge on their hands this year. M's and the Rangers have improved, while the Angels are probably not as good.

I'll be in AZ for some games around the 21st-25th.

Sigh.....I can't even pretend that during pre-season we could maybe, by chance go all the way this year? That's the whole point of spring training, start off with high hopes only to have your heart torn out and ground into dust by first of June.....

Igor: abso-freaking-lutely.

Howard: #1 and #2 are out of the question but #3.........

Hook: Re summer park trip: hope you post on "Non Baja Trips" your visits to each park. Would be a kick to follow that.

Sentimental favorite: Dodgers signed Eric Gagne to a minor league contract with an invite to spring training.

Neither the Dodgers nor the Giants are going anywhere this year.

You think your team is good until the world series comes around and you sit and watch the pitching between the Phillies and the Yankees. Then it all falls into perspective. Then you realize that it's no fluke that your team isn't playing in october.
