This is interesting, would a US airline do this? I got a call on my cell about an hour ago, the displayed number was very strange. 000123456... I
ignored it thinkig it was surely a solicitation but moments later I had voicemail. That is unusual for automated sales calls. I could barely
understand the message left by a clearly Hispanic woman in extremely bad English. I couldn't even make out the company she was calling from but she
left a number and asked that I call back. I didn't. Then just now another call from "unavailable". I answered, it was another woman speaking
Spanish. "No tengo mucho espanol" I said, "hablas ingles?". Se asked me to wait and soon an English speaking woman came on the line. It was
Volaris, she explained that they were trying to reach me to let me know that my flght times for an upcomming trip to Puerto Vallarta had changed.
I am impressed !

That is great.....and yes US airlines are doing it too. I flew Southwest last week and they called to let us know our return flight was delayed by 55
minutes.karenintx - 2-24-2010 at 02:56 PM
As does all US Airlines...American, Continental, Delta, US Airways, United and many others.
It's called technology...that is as long as you provide the airline with your contact info when you are booking a flight. Some folks don't so they
get to show up at the wrong time...oh well!alafrontera - 2-24-2010 at 03:03 PM
Well I'm not gonna argue but I have always providede e-mail and telephone contact info and I have never been contacted by either by any airline
anywhere to be told of schedule changes. That is why I though this was unique
Oh well, they impressed me anyway garynmx - 2-25-2010 at 02:52 AM

I use to fly only Aeromexico and had the Platinum card for years and also had over 400,000 miles to use for free flights but I have changed to Volaris
and am happy I did. The service is better, more leg room and it is easier to register and pay for your flight on-line and it's cheaper than Aeromex.
If you want to use your points for a free flight on Aeromexico it's not free anymore. You must pay a hugh tax which is half the normal cost of a
flight. Before the tax was minimal.
The stews on Aeromexico were rude and should be working at Denny's.durrelllrobert - 2-25-2010 at 10:59 AM
