Amigos, I finally decided to legitimately join in all the fun! Lurking as I have in the shadows has been fun but not completely fulfilling! I enjoy
all the travel info, pics of remote locations ( no names, of course), opinions re controversial subjects and lively cat fights! Why can't we all
get along?! Actually, that sounds boring! Soo, Can I play? I have been living in Baja Sur for 10 years after retiring as a Bilingual instructor in
the barrios of LA. I enjoy camping trips & exploring the southern Baja. Hope I can offer some good info & interesting perspectives. Viva
Baja! Saludos TomasLauriboats - 2-27-2010 at 11:26 AM

Welcome. I hope you have your level one certification Safe Camping permit, plus you'll need an annual registered Baja Camper sticker on your camp
vehicle. You'll purchase those from the main office, of course.Terry28 - 2-27-2010 at 12:00 PM

Welcome to BajaNomad, Tomas. Could you tell us some of your personal secrets so we can hold them over your head at the first sign of a disagreement?

hola back at ya amigo....welcome to the scrum...look forward to your posts, cat fights, photos of dogs and sunrises of course, and just having you
come out of the lurkers closet...bienvenido!Howard - 2-27-2010 at 02:41 PM
I am a little concerned with these posts. There has been 5 posts since the initial one and there has been no mud slinging and name calling. I am not
use to the pleasantries and kind words. What are you guys doing, luring him in
before your lower the Baja Nomad boom? Maybe we all can be nice and play in the same sandbox together!
I am just sitting here in Manhattan Beach waiting for the tsunami without a c-cktail in hand. Does the 5 o’clock rule count even if there might be a
tsunami on the way?

Suspended during natural or man made disasters. Just have plenty of ice on hand Bob H - 2-27-2010 at 02:52 PM
Tomas, I welcome you on becoming LIVE on Nomad! Looking forward to your input on any of your Baja adventures.

Thank you Bajaguy!

They say to have an emergency disaster kit. When the ice runs out I have plenty of red wine on hand. That is my kit.
Thank you for your pearls of wisdom regarding the 5 o'clock rule.

Merlot or Cabernet are recommended......whites do not have enough body to withstand the trauma of these seroius eventsBajaboy - 2-27-2010 at 03:15 PM
Welcome to Nomads! Most of the trouble makers are taking their afternoon nap. Come back this evening and you might find a different crowd.
I personally look forward to hearing about your experiences. I have some friends down in Elias Calles and actually was married there. Maybe our
paths will cross down the road.

Welcome to the board. Please post a photo of your dog and some gps waypoints for secret surf spots asap.
What part of LA did you hang in, homey?dtbushpilot - 2-27-2010 at 03:53 PM
You're going to have to tell us a little bit about yourself and maybe throw out an opinion or two so that we can start picking on you if you really
want to be a Nomad. We do have a hazing ritual here you know......dt.dtutko1 - 2-27-2010 at 04:44 PM
Are you the same Tomas that roams the shore of San Pedrito looking for young girls in bikinis to tell your old stories to?irenemm - 2-27-2010 at 04:49 PM
