I uasually get my FMT and temp auto permit to drive to Mazatlan after crossing in Lukeville AZ. but I am thinking about driving down Baja to La Paz
and taking the ferry to Maz. in Oct.`10...Is there an office to get the temp auto permit in La Paz? Years ago I did the Cabo -PV ferry and did all

bajagrouper.......You can get the temporary import permit at the ferry terminal in La Paz. In fact, the office is open seven days a week. It is
located immediately to the right of the passenger entrance to the ferry terminal. I recently visited the office to get a temporary import permit for
my boat. It was quick and easy and cost about $49 US as opposed to the $300, or so, charged by the helpful immigration staff in Loreto.twogringos - 2-28-2010 at 09:20 AM

I returned mine in Santa Rosalia a few years ago.
