Bringing sofa's, beds and gear to La Paz

I'm going to be leaving Orange Co on the 22nd of March driving down used beds, a freezer, couches and misc kitchen stuff for my house. I'm driving down a 20 foot flat bed trailer that I built gates for. Do I need to go through Otay Mesa or can I go through TJ. Both my wife and I have FM3's. I brought down lumber ($7,000 worth) in June and had to pay $300.00 in tariff's. Any info would be appreciated.:?:

i'd go to otay mesa just to avoid the error if tj won't take you

tj does send some people to otay mesa if its too much for them

you'll save $10 in tolls and get a tour of the town:D

Did you have to do anything beyond paying the duty when you brought the lumber down? I want to bring down a load of wood and several on this board have indicated that there is some kind of problem in doing so.
