Hola Nomads, I just got back from a 2 week stay in La Paz for our semi annual Rotary club clinic. We had to fly in this time, but with letters from
the Rotarians and the Office of Special Education Baja CA Sur, we passed through Aduana without problems or having to pay tax on all of the parts we
took down. I don't have the final numbers on the clinic patients, but I figure we fit and delivered about 18 or so prostheses and about as many
orthoses. We all had a great time, and myself and 2 other volunteers even managed to go fishing last Sunday out of Punta Arena, but it was waaaay
slow, only 3 sierra caught, but all nice size. We had a great fish taco dinner at the "Dingy Dock" restaurant located in the Marina Villa Hotel that
night. All in all a great trip, but I much prefer driving down and enjoying the journey along the way.
