I've posted before how much I like this reel - my Shimano Torium 30 and the 113HN Baja Spercial both were in the $150 range but the 113HN will wear
out long after the Shimano falls apart. Penn hasn't made this reel in a number of years but once in a while Charkbait gets a hold of some and sells
them for about $150. This time they are pairing the reels with a Penn rod so if you only want one of these reels then for $299 not so good. Deal

i got 2 for between $60-80 each over the winter off ebay. both from different sources and they each came fully overhauled (so they said) and full of
grease oozing out of them. now i just need to get a couple of 7-8' medium action rods to mount them on....
we're looking forward to october tuna in BA!

the shimano will last if you take care of it and and a way better reel then penn. fishing side too side against a penn baja special its at least two
to one on fish. clean your reels!!! i'm talking iron and speed of the reels.
