Happy St Patty's Day, all.
We have had the most fantastic stay at Santispac. A little wind, but great warm temps. One sheet nights. Swimming in the Lagoon, digging Chocolates on
the islands with Daniel, walking the beach, campfires, dancing at Ana's. Sunsets, starry, starry nights.
Couldn't have been better!
Life is good!!!!

One of my favorite Santispac bungalows before they were all told to move on. Too bad for those folks, they had some cool places.

About the middle of the beach back when folks were paying rent by the year and building homes like that. I'm sure many Nomads remember and probably
some had houses there.

I remember that place...........those were the days, swimming at mid-night in December. If you look in Walt Petersons Baja Advendure book you will
see our mini-motorhome there. Thanks for the memories K.

And those two beautiful homes at the north end of the beach. Wow, that's living. How did they swing those properties in an ejido?

Interesting story about the stone house pictured above. We were camped nearby, nobody was in the house. One evening a guy in pickup drove up to the
house, opened the locked gate and drove into the property. Soon thereafter a pointy bowed 25 foot or so open speedboat beached in front of the house
and I watched the pickup driver transfer a neatly wrapped package, about a meter on each side, to the boat. Then 3 or 4 5 gallon gas cans. The boat
took off. The guy spotted me watching and we immediately pulled up stakes and moved to Playa Perla.
On the same trip while spending the night at Cielto Lindo on the way down a truck pulled in at about 3 AM, woke me up, and I watched a guy transfer a
package from one of the trailers parked there to the truck. The truck took off.
And then there was the time at Santispac where I watched an old gringo motor in in a small inflatable, meet up with a Mex guy driving a shiney black
pickup who was waiting beneath a palapa and they exchanged a small package and money. The gringo then motored away and the Mex took off.
Baja commerce.

thanks for posting the photos of the carved posts...I've filed away the idea in my "list of dreams" folder...one day a carver will show up who we can
trade with...I'm gonna start looking for a suitable post.
