for sale on any beach or runway along the pacific side.
owned by a friend - and yes i get to go there soon.
it ain't cheap but when it is 107 in AZ i am going to be sitting on his patio!
Very nice place. I think if you have to ask how much, you can't afford it.Bajahowodd - 3-18-2010 at 04:06 PM
Just a bit too much hard scape around the house, in my opinion. It tends to detract from the natural surroundings. I know. I'm not helping sell it.
But, taking a cue from bajabass, I have to wonder if the seller is motivated when they don't post an asking price.David K - 3-18-2010 at 04:32 PM
Howodd, maybe think of that conrete skirt/ porch/ deck keeps the house clean and dry...
Bob has done the same at Playa Frambes Lighthouse Resort... it was nice to have such a large concrete deck to lay out on between the pool and guest
rooms.... and offers a good barrier to keep dirt and mud out of your home.
Since prices can change, serious buyers need only email them for the asking price...
Just my dos centavos...Bajahowodd - 3-18-2010 at 04:36 PM
Apologies to Bob & Susan, but my own personal feelings would apply there, as well. I'm no engineer or architect, so I cannot comment knowledgeably
on that issue. I'm just feeling it. That said, Bob & Susan have certainly built an amazing property. They should be congratulated. That doesn't
mean that there's not too much hard scape!
Edit for a second thought. The zocalo in San Jose del Cabo recently underwent a remodel. Some of the results were positive, what with the elimination
of much of the uneven sidewalks. But for me, the bottom line is that they left way too much concrete and way too little greenery. Just personal taste.

he's realistic enough to know how soft the market is right now for this kind of stuff.
he doesn't need to sell, he has plenty of pesos, but he has had this for 30 plus years and they would like to do other things, like travel and such -
they live in the northern rockies too for summer.
he doesn't list a price - if someone wants to make an offer he listens.
i think at one time you needed to be talking in the range of.......
until if and when it transfers they just enjoy it.Bajahowodd - 3-18-2010 at 04:44 PM
But where does one start? Assuming many potential buyers are looking for a bargain, versus making an emotional decision, I just think they should post
a price. Doesn't matter if the price might offend some potential buyers. It just seems to me that if someone really wants to do business, they have to
make the first move. Geez. There's a place nearby, certainly not in the front row, certainly not as tricked out and big, but seemingly very nice, that
has been listed for $85,000 for quite awhile. The Sculpin - 3-18-2010 at 06:55 PM
If someone is seriously looking, and this property interests them, they will have no problem putting together an offer for the seller to consider.
Yes, the lack of price is an indication of the seller's motivation, but how many times have you put an offer on something when the seller wasn't even
a seller! Sometimes those are the best win-win deals!!
Google Earth image??
steekers - 3-18-2010 at 08:26 PM
I would need where it is located on Google Earth.capt. mike - 3-19-2010 at 07:04 AM
Steekers - i can do that for you and will.
i have to figure out how to save a google screen to a file or pdf or sumthin.
and send me your email - i keep getting you and stickers mixed up - both you guys are pilotos.
i talked to him yesterday, now i know the asking...it is VERY affordable.
if i could get 3 partners on it and split 52 weeks a year i could do it.
there may be an issue on the continuation of the strip - might be that not enough pilots there currently to chip in on the license.
i will drill that.
thre are in montana now for family stuff.
they have full time cartaker for land and out buildings - a hell of a shop/dog house plus the ONLY steel hangar on the RW. very sweet set up.capt. mike - 3-19-2010 at 08:39 AM
i won't discuss it publicly.
he has a web site - he can be contacted there.
i know what he will TAKE.
but this is how the game is played in RE and development.... one must MAKE the offer to him 1st - no one wants to leave pesos on the table! ;^))
he'll likely get more than his bottom, like i said - he is in no hurry, if he gets some arbitrage - that's what i love about free markets...
too bad Obama is trying to take all inititive away and KILL free enterprize with his social agenda.... sorry, couldn't resist a little politicing

gwb policies and hands-off approach to financial industry is the trigger that caused economic meltdown and near-collapse of US economy.
you got to be pretty stupid or partisan to blame obama for colapse in RE sector.

"pretty stupid or partisan"
well yes in fact i am both!!
the problem was at the feet of Barney (i like to eat a ) Frank and that total crook and toad Dodd. both allowed the banking industry to ride wild.
they turned a blind eye, and Dodd for sure peddled influence for favors.
Frank is also a pathetic pedophile who ought to be in jail....of course he might like that.... lots of soap to grovel for.
Dodd, not Todd....early onset CRS disease...
