CFE rates website?

CP - 4-12-2010 at 03:22 PM

I THINK I saw a posting some time ago which gave an address to see CFE kWh rates in La Paz. I did a search and did not find it. I have searched on-line, and looked at www.cfe.gob.mx but did not find it there....

I'd like to see rates for Cd. Const., Loreto and La Paz if anyone can direct me to them.
Muchas gracias.

NEVERMIND, I found it. I had to look at the Spanish offering on the CFE site. I was looking at English.

Where are the rates in the "Spanish offering"? Admittedly, My ability to read Spanish is not very good, but if you could tell where I could drill down in the website to find the rates for La Paz, that would be very useful.

Key word is Tarifa. The rates were broken down by region, BCS as one. I first went to the "Tu Casa" page. There, on the left menu was "Conoce tu Tarifa". From there you have the choice of two tarifa pages - one has many rates for usage between zero and 250KwH. The second is DAC which is domestic high usage anywhere over 250 KwH.

Just for comparison, here's what we pay up here:

Basico.....to 150 KWH.....................0.687 per KWH

Intermedio.......next 100 KWH..........1.137 " " "

Excediente....... 2.409 " " "

I'm told, but haven't experienced it, that if total usage reaches a point not far above my average daily consumption, which is 5.31 KWH per day, the Basico and Intermedio rates are not used. All usage is charged at the Excediente level.

Tax [IVA] is 11%.............Seems to have gone up 1% recently. I didn't realize that. [I'm sitting here reading my last CFE bill]
Did IVA go up for everything?
Jeeezo...I'm gonna have to get out more.
