The only conclusions I can come up with is that you're toasting the dawn for being alive one more day or that you're starting to forget stuff.
Also, there must have been a gajillion floating fruit flies in them.

8 AM Lomas Centenatio area....a downright chilly 56F on my bayside patio!

Santiago, could it be possible that maybe YOU'RE of too advanced an age to remember....but maybe, just maybe, Pompano coulda gotten a better offer

than sitting out there a couple more minutes to finish that wine! :bounce:

Funny, it is cold, clear, and 50 here in Orange, and my wife is flying to La Paz on Sunday or Monday. Hope it warms up for her.

No need for an electricity-sucking heater! I'll loan her some socks & she can borrow the dogs....as long as it doesn't get cold enough to be a 3-dog night! :lol:

M ain't gonna start doubting nada....the sun's up now & my thermometer now reads 70 in the shade....it'll be in the 80-90's today. :bounce:

Not particularly so for NIGHT-TIME LOW temps! The coldest I can recall it getting here was mid-40's maybe 8-9 years ago, but for a gal from the Pacific Northwest, that's like spring!

Currently 80 on my bay-side patio. If you don't like the temp at any given hour....just give it a little time & it'll change! :biggrin:

55 on our terrace this morning.

Wife glimpsed a large white owl, about 2 feet tall last night, briefly roosting on a nearby light post. Wing span about 3 feet, white collar and breast entirely white. Anyone have an idea what it might be? Owls are common in our neighborhood but one this big is very unusual, unique in our experience here.

Have heard Marina de La Paz residents talk of ice on their windshields about 8 or so years ago.

60° at sunup in Loreto this morning. I washed my blanket and sweats last week and stashed them for the season. About midnight I dug the sweats back out.

Barn owls appear white in a frontal view at night, are about 16" +or-. An immature great horned owl might also look pretty light on its front at night. Taller, maybe 22-24". The GHO, as the name suggests, has tufts of feathers that look like inch-long horns coming out the top of its head. The barn owl has no such features, but it has big round dish-like indentations around both eyes taking up most of its face. Both are common in BCS.

Baja is just not far enough South to avoid the occasional cold snap (definition of which depends on one's perspective, I guess). Face it, only a tiny part of it is located within the tropical zone. 22. I've encountered fierce Santa Ana type winds even when below 22. Not a regular thing, but it happens. Y'all want tropics, head to Yucatan.
