Thanks---they are all great and looks like you had a great time. I really like all the photos, but the fourth one in the first part really jumps out at me. I love street scenes and that one is perfect!

Thanks much, Stimbo. I sure wish I could throw a cast net like the pangeros. I throw a pretty good wad of netting, but that doesn't collect many baitfish.

Well, I viewed all 3 posts and I've decided that ...... I like them all! If you're not at least semi-pro you missed your calling as a photographer. Composition, lighting, colors are great!

WOW - great pics!! The first cactus field is surreal. You have a great eye and captured some terrific images!

I so LOVE your compositions....you have a great eye and creative mind. My favorite of this bunch is the net thrower with the panga in the net!! You should make a calendar!! excellent images...how did you get the rattler?

Looks like the La Ventana campground here.

We used to hire a guide there that looks just like a younger version of your guide. He was from Los Planos and was most knowledgable in fly fishing. We would hire several from that town but he was the best.

Regarding the image with the thrownet. If you go north from La Ventana for about 10 miles you round a point that is just marvelous. There are always baitfish in there and roosters chasing them. The texture of the cliff at the point is really special. We never caught anything significant there but every time I would start the motor to leave, a bunch of large roosters would rush the beach and make me change my mind.

Hey Igor -- Good to hear from you and glad you enjoyed the photos. I figured you'd recognize the area (you gave me some great info, thanks). We saw some great fish including the "mother of all roosters" at Punta Arena. Also, while fighting off a siesta at La Ventana, I was pulled out of slumber with the squawking and diving of birds 30' from shore. Baitfish were fleeing for their lives, dorado were leaping out of the water in pursuit. I grabbed my fly rod and took off, but they were gone as quickly as they arrived. Saltwater fishing in Baja is WAY fun. We ate well. Even the Jack Crevalle, marinated in olive oil, salt, pepper, grilled lightly over coals was tasty. Jim
