We were visiting our friends Juan, Catalina and Mohamed up at the condor station a week ago and we got a chance to drive out to punta San Pedro which
is right at the edge of the western escarpment. Its an amazing view from there, we can see our ranch below and all the volcanos in SQ and all the way
to Valle de Trindidad!
Catalina took these pics of number 95 swooping 20 feet over our heads and landing in a pine tree right beside us.
Pretty breathtaking experience!

Here he (or she can't remember) is in the tree. It was not a graceful landing, apparently is quite a young one. You can see the transponder on its
wing. Info gets relayed to a NASA satellite and then movements can be monitored via an overlay in googleearth.
