Thanks so much for the article from Desert magazine, which Steve was able to download. I wrote that while still living in La Paz (which accounts for
the name), and didn't know it had been published until after I finally made it north to Escondido and was looking through Deserts at the library
there. (They had sent a check to La Paz that was never delivered.)
We spent a couple of weeks at Chapala, at a stand of mezquites to the south of Grosso's place ("Sauer's Camp," Brig Arnold later told me that campsite
was called). As the designated cook/dishwasher for five adults and three subteens, I wasn't able to do any exploring. It seems to me the rock art was
on the east side of the playa, but I'm not sure. The pics my husband took unfortunately disappeared during a household move.

Not a problem Lee... I will add it to my list of things found, then lost in Baja (that need to be re-found)!
