Did anyone NOT register their phone and was it turned off? We registered ours at the same time we bought more time so we do not know if it was turned
off or not??

I registered mine about a week ago and it hadn't been turned off yet. Got a text message a while later, it was from Telcel, either confirming my
registration or saying "SUCKERRRRRR"....dt

I still have service, although I'm not registered. I read an article last week that was similar to the one above, and now I am even more reluctant to
register. However, since I usually travel alone, I need the security of a working cell for emergencies. I'm faced with a dilemma. Any suggestions or
recommendations?
