do people eat roosters? i'd be honored to catch any rooster once in my life. my opinion is let the little guys go. the big ones have bred many times over their lifetime and are going to die soon anyway.

Roosters are pretty nasty otherwise unless you consider meat that is grey when cooked appetizing. These fish should be released, if at all possible. There are not alot of places in the world were these fish thrive.

Forget all the BS! That is a good Rooster! I myself like them to eat. Started at Ray Cannons's place where the were cooked after removing the dark strip. I think they are great. have caught many in my 38 years fishing the /Sea of cortez.

surf season is already here..and so are the masses....good thing most don't fish!! Our hidden break is no longer... good thing my shoulder is blown out or that would be upsetting...or unleast until my surgery and recovery.
