Anyone know what the status of the condo project called Tesoro de Loreto? Their website tesororealty.net boasts condos right on the beach. Are they still operational? Construction completed?

Anyone have info on their CEO, Eddie Mealey who is from El Centro?

Thanks.

Online info says Eddie Mealey has had 3 minor federal funding projects with Homeland Security, doing refrigeration and air conditioning jobs. He's categorized as a demolition company, as well as construction. Doesn't look like big-time, serious Mexican condo development caliber.

Some tesoro (treasure) this is........

The Tesoro de Loreto building is about 95% complete. It is right next door to the Mision Hotel, which in my opinion, turned out to be beautiful. The owner spared no expense on cantera stone, high end furnishings, etc.

The Tesoro, however, is just sitting there unfinished, and is a bit of a blight on the Malecon and the Mision next door.
The Tesoro project also has the terminal sewer valve/holding tank right in front, and at times really stinks.

I heard that the owners ran out of money, and are looking for more financing to finish the building.

it's fenced off and unfinished. looks as if it could be nice if/when it's done. one would walk over the sidewalk, through on street parking, then cross the street itself past the (generally) stinking sewer tank thing to your left, cross the malecon, and you get to the big rocks holding back (again, generally, but waves just wash over in storms) the sea. definitely not a beach. there is a public beach north a block or two past the marina.
at one time there was a sales office on Salvatierra, I've often wondered how many buyers/investors signed on.
