I just finished a quick four day trip to La Paz this past Friday through Monday. Flew in from TJ on Friday, and the Volaris flight was comfy and
punctual. I was able to spend 3 days scouting rentals, homes, and lots. I found a great rental for Mrs. Dra. Bajabass, who will be starting work for
IMSS in La Paz very soon. I had the pleasure of meeting several Nomads who did nothing other than make me feel completely at home, and among friends.
Longlegsinlapaz, Kate, Jesse, Old Lady, Roaminthroughbaja, along with everybody
I met at a great party thrown by Old Lady, a huge Gracias Amigos!!! I am back up north, and I am trying to work, while visions of La Paz, dancing
dorado, and Jesse's awesome Tuna Tanake dance through my widely scattered brain. I am much more than eager to get south full time and meet many more
neighborly Nomads!!!noproblemo2 - 6-3-2010 at 02:34 PM

You and your wife are making your dreams come true...

Will you be keeping your La Mision place for vacations??? Nice retreat for the summer heat there.bajabass - 6-3-2010 at 05:39 PM
Gracias Mulegena! Believe me, as soon as I can make it happen. Things are moving really fast. Though not fast enough for me. I've only been married to my lovely wife for three years. I don't want her 1000 miles
away for very long, YET!bajabass - 6-3-2010 at 05:45 PM
Oh yeah, I will want to hide from the heat once in a while, and my wife's family all live there. I had planned on living there, but it will still be a
vacation place, and my home away from my new home! Many, many great friends
in La Mision. I think I'll always have a place there!noproblemo2 - 6-3-2010 at 06:12 PM
Good for you, good friends are to be cherished as well as family, sounds like you are well on your way again Congrats to you both on your new
adventure...BigWooo - 6-3-2010 at 07:32 PM
Did she get assigned to La Paz? When we met a few weeks ago on one of her trips she was worried it would be Guerrero Negro bajabass - 6-3-2010 at 08:48 PM
Hey Woo, thanks for making her feel welcome. Gracias Dios, La Paz! GN would not have worked, but she put up a big enough stink to get La Paz. I am
looking forward to meeting both of you.bajabass - 6-4-2010 at 05:49 AM
Thanks Kate, we're going to Jesse's for lunch again, soon!wessongroup - 6-4-2010 at 06:17 AM
It has been fun.. good luck.. on your move, and everything else..bajabass - 6-4-2010 at 08:00 AM
It has really just begun. Mrs. Dra. Bajabass has a job, the first goal is reached! I have a buyer "on the hook", so to speak. This business has to
sell before I can follow suite and head south. DianaT - 6-4-2010 at 03:56 PM

Hey Woo, come over and I'll tow you behind my boat!bajabass - 6-5-2010 at 01:52 PM
I think we found a good deal, not great, but good. 2br, 2ba, A/C, small pool, 3 mini-splits, alarm, washer, dryer, fridge. Fully stocked and
furnished. By stocked I mean all bedclothes, towels, dishes, pots, pans, microwave, coffee maker. Immaculate house a couple years new, hardly lived
in. Almost 180 degree ocean, bay, city view from the patio, pool area. In El Centenario, up the hill. Very reasonable rent. We will be putting in tv
and internet access.bajabass - 6-5-2010 at 02:03 PM
Oh, plenty of room to park the boats!!longlegsinlapaz - 6-5-2010 at 06:13 PM
Room to park the boats yes....but NO SECURE OR FENCED area to park them. You park them up there
next to the casa & you'll end up giving someone a really nice Christmas & you'll be doing all your fishing from the beach
within the first 1-2 weeks!bajabass - 6-5-2010 at 07:22 PM
I have a little idea for that concrete anchors and big chaincomitan - 6-5-2010 at 07:27 PM
