On the trip to the states filled up at the new in town Pemex GN got bad gas it took 3 tanks to finally clear it up. May have been my bad luck but

Yikes, we just a little gas there the other day---enough so we could fill up in Vizcaino. Guess we will avoid it----

I assume that it is owned by the same folks that have the station farther into town. Regarding that station, I have been warned by locals to avoid it,

Just joking about that, Wiley. Anyone who has spent any time in the area is quite familiar with the pervasive salt in the air. Goes with the territory
what with the town being S/W of the huge salt ponds with an almost constant N/W wind. I was thoroughly reminded of that when we stayed at the Cowboy

We got some bad diesel in BOLA last trip, I'm sure it had something to do with my brother inlaw filling his duramax with gas. He managed to drive it
to Viscaino before it crapped out, then on a tow truck to La Paz, we didn't have a clue what was wrong with it until the mechanic in La Paz said

I drive a powerstroke but I gotta admit that Duramax had to be pretty tough to go that far and not ruin the motor. And we were worried about low

in this humid climate you need to keep large tanks full otherwise condensation gets in the tank
if the station has been running empty...lots of water could be in the tank
they do have a water separator filter at the pump but maybe that's full too
