We're heading to Todos Santos for a little vacation and I was wondering the best way/place to get cash while we're there...we have a Chase Bank
account which I recall isn't the best bank for Mexican transactions...will it work in the ATMs there? Or is it best to go into a bank to take care of
it? Thanks.gnukid - 6-23-2010 at 11:47 AM
You could exchange money in the airport prior to departing or use your credit card for your hotel and car rental and fancy jewelry pruchases your wife
will be making, you can also get pesos at the airport atms in San Jose del Cabo, there will many other banks as you drive out of the airport through
Cabo to Todos Santos, there may be a intl atm fee typically $5 but you can withdraw 3000 to 5000 pesos/day which will last at least one day in Todos
Santos. Visit Los Ceritos just south of Todos, it's is a nice beach with rental surf boards, massage and restaurants!
I imagine there must be a bank atm in Todos but I don't recall...monoloco - 6-23-2010 at 12:41 PM

Thanks for your answers, I appreciate it! Thanks for the heads up on Los Cerritos gnukid...we're staying in Todos but plan on checking out the whole
coast along there, so good to know!tiotomasbcs - 6-24-2010 at 09:21 AM
Mexy, ATMs are what the majority of the locals use for spending money. Where are you staying?? Credit Cards are taken only at a few places. Hotel
California also has an ATM!! Changing US dollars for pesos is difficult w/o an account!! Ask around for the quiet, tranquil beaches; Cerritos is
Cabo Trendy and full of tourists. It has always been one of the prettiest but not the only one!! Be very careful of road construction! Enjoy
yourselves!Mexitron - 6-24-2010 at 11:25 AM
