I have received XM successfully on all Baja trips, but am headed to Canadian Rockies next week. How well does XM work in Canada with a US
subscription?
(I know this is not really a Baja question, but need info from people in the know.)
Gracias

XM-SIRUS SAT. RADIO

XM (now owned by Sirus) has worked for me in Baja Sur, Alaska plus lower 48, & Canada. I've used mine in the Canadian Rockies many times since
1998..the year I installed XM sat. radio. You will have no problem getting reception in most areas, given a clear southern exposure.
There ARE a few rare signal 'deadspots' here and there. A small section of the Baja Road at El Rosario for instance...a short stretch on Interstate
I-15 north of Salt Lake City, ect. Not to worry, you will quickly recover the signal after driving out of these deadzones.
I wouldn't be without sat. radio. Happy listening...I love the sheer numbers of selections..something for everybody. We will often make bets while
traveling as to listening to the same news event from different organizations on XM ....gives one a perspective of how 'news' is reported so
differently. They all should be labeled..'Our Take on the News'
Our present favorite music is XM's ch. 73...'Sheer Sinatra'..kinda dreamy and nostalgic. Ch. 28 is good for us, too..aptly called 'Escape'. Cruising
music. You might see us in the Rockies this summer. Look for a bumper sticker saying Nomad Nerds.

thaks for the info

Roger....if you end up in a caravan of fellow nomadians....would that then be a herd of nerds??
