Beautiful!! We spent the night in that parking lot a couple of years ago in the snow!! One of the wonders of Baja. Imagine the native people watching this as their daily sun rise and sun set!!

Very cool, especially the marine layer creeping in.

my wife from BCS was amazed the first time we went there. We want to bring the rest of the family up.

However when I took her to Alaska for 6 months, Pedro martir was child's play in comparison.

Pedro Martin is beautiful But when i was there a couple years ago at this time. it was very hot and dry. All i could think about what if a fire started. NO way out. with only 1 road and at that time it still was not paved all the way it was a slow go. With no water anywhere I said I would not go back. I had wanted to go for years because I live only 3 hours from there. My kids had been there back in the 80's with school and with guests in our RV park
It is a on time trip. Just don't go in the dead of summer. To hot and DRY.
If you go make sure you get up early enough to get the tour of the Observatory. That makes all worth while. Very interesting. The tour I think ends at 1 or 1:30. I don't know what time they start.
It is true that forest can not compare with most forest I have seen. Or most of us on this site.
but something for the BAJA
