I have a Master Card that gives me back 5% cash when I use at any USA gas stations. Lets say gas is $3 a gallon, minus .15 a gallon for my cash back,
that comes to $2.85 a gallon. As Bob and Susan say, it would be approx. $2.48 a gallon in Baja which is a difference of .37 a gallon.
The one big difference is, I GET AN ACTUAL VOLUME OF GAS THAT I PAY FOR IN THE US AND I ALWAYS ASSUME THAT I GET SHORTED FOR AT LEAST 10% OF GAS IN
MEXICO.
Hey cutexianchick, are you from Xian, China?
That brings it to about even. That is assuming that I only get a 10% short pour. I used to get upset about the short pour but the older I get the
more I realize it's just something I must live with if I want to travel to Baja. |
