Bob, you should include the year and model of your Lance. Looks like a 9-6 length, but the model is important. Also, short bed or long bed. Difficult to tell (for some) in the photo. Does your Lance have a generator?

The Lance is also a 2001. Truck is long bed. No generator. 9-6 length is correct. Interior of the camper is immaculate. Includes Television, A/C, microwave, frig, queen bed, etc. Everything - ready to roll.

Looks like Motel Sinai El Rosario.

What's ''loaded'' on the truck? Any after market items: air bags, shocks, etc.

What model is the Lance? How much does it weigh?

What's maximum hauling weight on the Ford?

Behind the Motel Siani ... yes! That's where the photo was taken.
This truck has airbags. GVWR is 8800 pounds. The camper weighs 2700 pounds. The Lance is a Model 920, built in 2000, but purchased new in 2001.

Loaded Lariat.... 4x4, Leather interior, bucket seats, A/C, Cruise/Tilt, 6-disc CD AM/FM Premium Sound, Power Windows, Power Driver's seat, 10-ply BFG All Terrain T/O's, etc.
39,800 miles.

Here we are in Mulege a few years ago. Dropped the camper and went off to explore the area for 2 weeks.

Are you going for that good deal trailer of Mike's? Good call, if you do.

David K - 7-11-2010 at 07:47 AM

The Ford is Baja Proven and has been on at least two Nomad caravans with us (Nuevo Mazatlan to Matomi Oasis Feb. 2004 and La Vibora Grade/ Sauzalito copper mine from the El Rosario Festival July, 2005).

A really nice setup, that has a lot of life left in both the truck and the camper.. a really good deal .... for someone ... best of luck..

Hook - 7-12-2010 at 09:19 AM

Bob, have you made any modifications to the truck at all? Exhaust? Chipped or programmer? Any aftermarket gauges or anything?

No, other than the airbags and wiring for the camper, she is pretty much stock. This has been a great truck. I have the maintenance history and all I see are oil changes, tires, and brakes over the years.

Did this ever sell? I have a friend looking for something like this.

Hook, sorry, I never saw your post.

We still have the camper. We really never advertised it and think we may use it more. But, if you have someone interested, just let me know.

I just drove her yesterday!

Ahhh, this rig is back on the market. We find ourselves staying more in hotels these days. But, we had so much fun with this setup over the years.

Where on the Pac Side?

Bob H - 6-1-2011 at 09:24 AM

Our Lance camper and F250 are back on the market again.

Price is reduced from $24K to $18K

Wanted to give fellow Nomads one more chance at this beautiful cabover before selling to the open public.

F250 still has less than 39,000 miles on her and the Lance is in very good condition, with the interior geting FIVE STARS! We are non-smokers and never allowed anyone to smoke inside our camper.

Location: San Diego, California

easy.......

PEDREGAL?????

Bob H - 6-1-2011 at 09:22 PM

No, never smoked a fine cigar (puro) INSIDE that camper. Always, outside.

We had a lot of fun during our visit with you in Mulege when you two were there!

And, a fine time at La Palapa bringing our own bottles of wine for dinner there!

capt. mike - 6-2-2011 at 06:03 AM

no Baron Bob - Pedregal is a pain in the arse as far as location - way too far to get to town for stuff or hang at bars restaurants etc.
and the RW ain't that great either, short and spotty maintenance.

i would never buy one of those deep discounted lots there. the Oreindain family has a ways to go to make that property nice IMHO.

i'd much rather be at Lorenzo's.

actually i'd rather be at Pescadero.... but takes more dinero than i can arrange today.
