where can they get the latest fishing reports?

While not exhaustive here is a link to a report I posted reviewing fishing on the 18th and 19th. I just got back and will try to post more in the next few days.

Overall things seem to be late this year - lots of smaller dorado near shore, big fish harder to come by. Rooster fish plentiful and yellow tail still deep over the usual spots.

Lack of sardinias is limiting fly fishing but lots of fun to be had. Sailfish are starting to show up and things are finally warming up. The next few weeks could be outstanding if things fall into place.

I was in Loreto two weeks ago and found Dorado about 25 to 30 miles past Punta Lobo. We also had small jumping YF in numerous spots. I saw a couple Tuna belly roll that had to be 75 pounds.

We caught five Dorado and had nine strikes. Two had to be Tuna. Trolling blue and white feathers to covers ground verses slow trolling bait. Lots of bait and billfish.

Had to go on a friends Panga because my boat broke again. I was willing to take extra fuel but the boat owner said 28 gallons would be enough. NOT.... We ran out of fuel six miles outside Punta Lobo. Thanks to the Mexican skipper of the gringo's boat who brought us extra fuel.

Mike, try this. Robin is getting the job done at Western Outdoor News and the reports are starting to improve a lot. She is doing a weekly report and gets better information all the time.

Shoot! I just missed in La Paz by one week. Going back in early August, though.

I have one thing to say to the tuna: "Keep biting, I'm coming after you!".
